Dear Kitty,
whoever said 'laughter is the best medicine' was a bit like a weather man; wrong almost all the time, and very occasionally right. Today, they were right - I've spent the last hour laughing like an idiot, and my ear feels much much better. It started off with Cecily and I playing the piano, and then Mum too, and then Dad - and then we all played 'Who Can Sing ... First?' after tea. This was bad enough until it got to 'La Boheme', and William sang it NOT ONLY in English, but also like the Major off Fawlty Towers. I couldn't stop crying with laughter for about five minutes.
I love my family. I really do, and I'm so glad we're all together.
Got to go - Mum's just restarted with 'West Side Story'.
Yours,
Frano
P.S Because of my ear, I haven't been able to eat anything that isn't liquid for the last three days, so have lost weight. Yay!
