Dear Kitty,
Christmas was marvellous. We played board games and Charades and just had a really great time. I didn't get a Nintendo Wii - I got something MUCH better; a SEWING MACHINE! Cecily and I are going to set it up later and make a skirt. I also got a Space Hopper from Katie, which Dad has now adopted (despite falling off it every time he tries to use it).
I also got an ear infection. It appeared on Sunday night and has got progressively worse, so I didn't sleep much last night. Mum and Dad woke me up at half six to take me to the doctor's at seven, and I was very grumpy with them for it. Cecily opened her presents when we got back, and then we all went out shopping in Norwich. I went to sleep afterwards, and now my paracetemol's worn off, so it hurts again. Being able to hear through only one ear is - well, it's interesting, and I don't think it's doing much for my tuning. I'm not enjoying it much, but everyone's being very nice to me because of it.
Yours,
Frano
