Dear Kitty,
I have decided that I am fed up with wearing the same mouldy old shirt to bed every night, and am instead going to make myself a lovely new nightgown. Plan:

I've adored this nightgown since I first saw the film. Ah, Audrey - where would fashion be without you?
That's the best thing about Paris - I can wear what I want! So I've been parading around like a 1950s actress for the last week and a half. At least four people have said that I look like a pin-up (a good thing, I hope) - apart from choir, which said I look like an elf. And the random guy today, who tied a bracelet around my wrist, made me pay him for it and then said 'you look English' in English. I'd been pretending to be German - evidently I'm not too good at impressions. This all happened at the bottom of Sacre-Coeur; I'd gone to Anvers to find a new nightie, but no joy. Sacre-Coeur is wonderful, and you get a glorious view from the top of the stairs. It seemed fitting to go to a church on the first day of Advent, and I'm so glad I did.
Home in eleven days - and Alex's interview in seven...
Oh, I miss him.
Yours,
Francesca
P.S. I tried doing NaNoWriMo and failed dismally.
