Dear Kitty,
I had my first 'social' night last night - there's another girl who lives down the road in the next villa, and she came over to watch a film. In reality, she came over, and we ate a lot of freezepops, tried to figure out what each of us was talking about, and giggled. It was really nice, actually. She's Australian, which is why we couldn't understand each other sometimes - they have such weird slang over there! It was lovely, though, and we both enjoyed it. It's good to have a friend nearby.
I worked this afternoon, and then sat in my room and watched 'Love Actually'. Still haven't stopped crying - but it's a happy-film-cry, if that makes any sense. It made me miss Alex a lot, though, but I think I'm just missing the emails from him. I haven't heard from him in five days, nor seen him in two months - but hopefully I'll see him in 2.5 weeks. I really hope so, honestly. I've been asking God for guidance about the long-distance aspect, but I know that I just have to trust Him because, whatever happens, He will make it alright in the end - even if it doesn't always seem like it will.
Yours,
Chessie
