Dear Kitty,
I've spent the last week with Alex - and it's been one of the most magical weeks of my life.
He arrived at mine on Tuesday when Mum and William were in France, and then spent the next three days watching 'Father Ted', playing Phase 10 and Sims 3, and just doing whatever we liked - so watching three Audrey Hepburn films and making a lot of bread. We left for his house on Friday, and that's where I've been since then. His parents went to Munich on Sunday, so we've been alone for most of the last seven days. It's basically been us doing normal teenagery things, like playing Mariokart and Scrabble, and watching films, and playing tennis - although I suppose that some teenagers would be having rampant sex, rather than watching 'Toy Story'.
Out of the last seven nights, I've spent five of them with his arms around me. He's totally cool with my whole no-sex thing, which is ACE, so it's all just been for comfort, really. For two people who've only being going out for six weeks, we're pretty darn close - although I have known him for seven years, so it's a bit different.
I can't really describe the last seven days. I suppose it all sounds interminably dull, but I've been so so happy. Everytime he hugs me, I can't help but grin. I feel so silly and 'in love' - but is it love? I don't know. I expect I will do in time - but it feels quite like it for now. But - oh, Kitty, my head's in a whirl and I can't explain myself!
The only bad thing is that I can't see him for over a month now - he goes to Scotland on Friday, and I go to Munich just before he gets back. Then, there's only three days until Paris, and he goes to Florence on the 20th of September, so we won't see each other until sometime (shortly) after that, I think. It honestly makes me want to cry.
Yours,
Francesca
P.S. When I left on the bus this morning, I felt like Alice in 'All Creatures Great And Small' when she leaves Tristan. I got a text three minutes later when I was about to cry that said 'Miss you already xxx' (which didn't really help, to be honest). Oh, I miss him so so much.
