Dear Kitty,
I've been feeling really confident for the last week or so, and I've no idea why. Not that I'm complaining or anything - on the contrary, I feel great! - but it's a peculiar feeling to have.
Alex arrives tomorrow, and I can't wait. I will admit, however, that I'm more than a bit nervous - the house to myself, and a boy there? Well, you know how het up I can get. He leaves on Friday - and then I see him again on Saturday because I'm doing Eadon's wedding in Oundle and then staying with him for a few days after. How we can spend so much time together and not get bored or irritated, I'm sure I don't know. I think I agree with what Max said - we really do have an awful lot in common. That, and he's the perfect gentleman.
Yours,
      Francesca
p.s. he calls his dad 'Papa'. Made me squee when he told me.
p.p.s. I've lost about three kilos since I got back from school. This is good.
