Dear Kitty,
well, here I am again. I expect you're getting a little fed up with me now, because I've been writing to you since Fifth form! It's a very long time, Kitty, and you've seen me through a lot. Sometimes I wonder what I'd have done without you.
Anyway, I went up to Oundle yesterday and saw Fenny, Pop and Auntie Sylvia. I love Auntie Sylvia to bits, but she's a bit odd - she says things that aren't especially related to what we've been saying, and keeps forgetting words for modern things. Mum was teasing her mercilessly, and I felt a bit bad for laughing.
It's back to school in two days, and I've still so much more to do! It's awful - presents, packing, baking, sewing, so much else! I've been so excited about doing these boxes, and it's all got to be done last minute - oh dear...
Aside from that, I've got an essay to do now, and I'm listening to David Tennant in a radio play about Kafka. Ah, what a voice.
...and for some strange reason, that's reminded me of my dream from last night. I'm not entirely sure what it was about, but Hector was in it, and I just felt so happy and sort of 'safe'. I've no idea why, but - well, you know me.
Essays to research, plays to write.
Yours,
Francesca
P.S. Ha! Lost a kilo!
