Dear Kitty,
I had a massive low-self-confidence incident on Monday when we went shopping, and I've been feeling a bit down on myself since. On the bright side, I've got a new evening dress and I'm sorting out birthday presents.
One other thing; Mum and Dad have bought me a new laptop, and I'm feeling quite guilty. I shouldn't be - I do need one (especially for next year), and Cecily and Dad have them too, but it's a bit like when they buy me things that aren't from Primark. I think it's from when we first moved to Saxmundham and I got all my clothes from either Primark or Oxfam - and now I just feel bad if they buy me stuff that's actually more than ten pounds. Silly, I know.
School starts again in thirteen days, and I've still got so much more to do before it...
Yours,
      Francesca
