Dear Kitty,
I'm slipping back into old habits, I've realised - not necessarily bad ones, but old ones just the same. Anyway, I'm home; I got up at 10:30 this morning and didn't get to the Post Office until 11:50 (just before it closed) which shows how long it takes me to get ready in the morning.
I'm home alone right now because Dad's in London, Mum's at work, William's on a plane and Cecily's in Manchester. Admittedly, Spratt is in the kitchen, but he doesn't really count. Tomorrow I'm going to stay with Cecily, and we're going material shopping, so I'm going to make a few new dresses. Mum's taking me shopping on Saturday because she's found lots of new Chinese shops and vintage shops, and also because my sewing isn't that reliable, so we're going to buy some dresses too. I've gone off trousers.
The holidays look exciting, and surprisingly fun. There's so much to plan and so much to get done, along with lots of revision (yay?). I'm hoping to see at least Katie this holiday because I've been to stay with her loads and she hasn't come here once (hint hint, Katie). Apart from that, I'm writing a song in French, called 'Selon Toi' - it's very 'Edith Piaf', but I quite like it.
It looks like it's going to rain later, so I'm going to go and get the shopping done for Mum now, rather than later.
Yours,
Francesca
