Dear Kitty, This was originally written last night at about 11:54: Dear Kitty, It's about three days and six minutes till my birthday...but I don't think that I'm going to enjoy it much this year if I'm going to have this on my mind. I just hope so much that Mrs Watt won't tell Mum and Dad. I mean, I'll be fifteen when she finds out; surely I'll be able to decide what happens myself? I know I come across as innocent and ditzy, but my 'inner self' is actually serious and understanding, and has actually had quite a lot of experience with the world. But people seem to be happier with my other side, so I keep that there. But, if someone asked my other side, for a change, then I'd be serious and I'd be able to make a 'rational decision'. That doesn't happen, and I know that it won't and that nothing will go how I want it to...keep hoping and praying. That's what I'll do. It's all I can do. I'm sorry if I seem so down-to-earth and serious, Kitty, but this is my 'other side' speaking for itself for a change. I'm fed up with having to keep it locked up and trying to be happy and optimistic all the time; I'm letting it talk. But not in front of other people. Oh, Kitty, if the worst comes to the worst, and Mum and Dad do find out...I don't know what I'll do.I'll write as soon as I can.Francesca
