Dear Kitty, I don't know what to say. I don't know what to do. I know that this won't seem that big to anyone else, but to me, it is huge. Basically, Isla will probably leave at the end of the year. And I don't know what to do. Oundle without Isla, or any of my friends, really, just wouldn't be Oundle. I don't know what to do about it; I probably can't change anything about it if she's decided to go - she's as stubborn as a mule - but I wish that we could all go back to how it was in First Form. In First Form, I practically lived in Laxton because I hated the Berrystead, and it was me, Lexie, Isla, Charly and Rodsey against the world. We'd promised that we'd stick together through anything; nobody cared about popularity. As long as we all stuck together, we were happy. In Second Form, we even set up our own common room in a really tiny room next to the boys (until we got thrown out). But we were so happy just being us. And then we got to Third Form, and everything changed. Lexie and Rodsey split off from us, and suddenly, they just weren't Lexie and Rodsey anymore. There were two new girls called Daisy and Rosa. So it was just me, Isla and Charly while the other two went off and bitched about us to everyone, calling us immature and antisocial. Of course, we were never really the same after that. And it's still me, Isla and Charly. But Lexie and Charly are cousins, and now they're fighting. I don't know what to do about it. This morning, Isla and Charly's parents lodged a formal complaint about the other Laxtoners, and they haven't been back to the common room since lunchtime. And I don't know what to do; I just wsh that we could all go back to being normal again, that nobody cared about popularity or fought at all. I just wish that we could all trust eachother again. According to Lexie, they're just being really antisocial, but they're not. Isla's not like that. Neither's Charly. I just don't know what to do about either of them; I just wish that they could be happy.I'm sorry, I have to go; it's tea. I'll write more later. I don't know if I can even be bothered to go to Open House tonight; there just doesn't seem to be a point anymore.I love you.FrancescaxxxxP.S. I can't see the point in not doing it...the only problem is that I shan't have time until I get back from Open House tonight.
