struggling...
I feel like I should be doing better... I should be passed things and over things and in a better place.... yet here I am... bitter and jaded... and struggling. Some days I'm ok with how my life has unfolded... other days I'm just sad and angry that there are so many things that I never had a choice in... it's been 7 years since my ex left me... I should be ok by now... right!?
....and I've lost two amazing women to cancer in the last year or so... and struggle to be ok and accept that my mom and big sister are gone...
just lots rattling around in my head... too much to sort out on my own... will I ever learn to trust again?.... will I ever fully let someone in...

trying to change my story... atleast my language and outlook about it...I\'ve spent too many years wondering what is wrong with me... wondering what I lack that I couldn\'t keep him happy... wondering if he ever, in our 16 years, truly loved me.... I\'ve played the victim far too long... instead of the constant pity party I\'m going to commit to being positive... sulking about my husband leaving me for a much younger woman and him living happily ever after with her, only hurts... but if I focus instead on how well I\'ve managed as a single mom... how independent and capable I am... I can feel positive... instead of mourning, dwelling and missing my mom and big sister I can be thankful for the life I\'ve had because they were in it...hoping this change in perspective will help catapult me out of the funk I\'ve been in...
LOVE your comment to yourself! Absolutely to pep talk you need. Youcan change you story - and how you tell it matters. Awesome!
Oh, and, I deeply believe there is no \"happily ever after\" for these guys. life is never as good as it looks from the outside.
But you don\'t even need to care about that because you are building your own kickass life with your kids!
