Eek, I hadn't signed on yesterday *slaps self on wrist gently*. Well, then I shall write a longer entry today. Yesterday went well. Tony & I went to King of Prussia mall to use up all of my Border's gift cards. I was curious to see how he'd handle crowds & just the general annoyance of mall patrons. He handled it remarkably well. I'm so proud of him! Then we drove to Reading to go to a belated b-day party w/ my family in his honor. My dad likes to tease people, my uncles also to a degree. Tony handled that all like a pro. He later thanked me for not needling him. LOL, I knew he'd get his due from my dad. And he also said that on the ride to Reading he had a few, minor, panicky moments. Tony said he was also very happy with me for being more sociable than I normally am. I hadn't noticed. I was aware of how I had to bite my tongue at some of the more bigoted talk that I was forced to witness. But that's nothing new. For crying out loud, it's Reading, PA. Most of the people there, my family sadly included, are narrow-minded. Ugh, it's why I wouldn't be suprised if this state goes to McBush. But we'll save that for another blog. It was nice when we got home last night just to have a snack & watch a movie we both enjoy, The African Queen. I also haven't needed to take any Melatonin for 2 days. And last night, I slept the entire night through *swings around noisemakers*!!! Now, here's my concern. You didn't think this blog would be all roses, didja'??? For this final month of the season, the O's are running $1 upper deck seats. I would greatly love to see another game, as would Tony. And on Tuesday the 9th vs. the Indians, they're giving away free Brian Roberts t-shirts. But, we still haven't received his ER bills. That will come to $300. I already have not put anything into our ING savings account this month either since I've been paying $160/ month for Tony's therapy. Plus, the holiday season is fast approaching. So, how do I justify the expense of a ball game *gnaws nails*?
