I find that I have trouble sleep,,,,again,,, maybe this is a one time thing that has come up on me ,,,,my internal sleep clock is getting jarred once again,,,perhaps,,,,well it is close on to 5am and I am wide awake,,, I have an appt with the dentist in the afternoon,,,maybe I get to snooze out in the dental chair ,,,wouldn't that be nice,,,I anticipate having to have some major work ahead of me there,,,oh well,, it is my fault ,,,
Talked to a friend in Chicago earller ...about this and that ,,,about some politics, some continuing issues with the financial markets (he used to be a broker ), he has been going through some pain therapy for back problems and some other issues,,,,He is going to this Doctor who has this pain negation program,,,and he talked about that ,,,We talked about my current state of social endeavors,,that didn't last very long :))
Oh yeah ..speaking on social/relations such as they are ...I was watching an old concert on youtube and my mind got fixated on my college days,,and my own flame for back then,,,I was terribly shy and very insecure ,,,but I had a love interest ,,,I guess today you would term me a stalker for how I behaved in those days ,,,still she was aware of my interests ,,,I couldn't imagine that she wasn't at the time ,,,,the song "Martha" by Tom Waits came up in my mind and I couldn't ditch it ,,,her name was Martha btw and the story in the song is exactly the issues that played out a few years back,,,only on the internet and not the phone ,,,it was just a fleeting indulgence this time ,,,I calculated that she has to be about 3 to 5 years my junior ,,which should make her late 50's by now perhaps pushing 60. I still see her as 22 or 23 back then,,,Wow,,,was I ever a certified basket case as far as she was concerned,,..She wound up in Tempe, Az.. probably a tea party terrorist nowdays ,,though she was something of a non-political person as I remember,,,
I have been playing with my Ipad..,,recently,,,my favorite toy of the moment getting into game apps for the most part ,,nothing particularly complicated or extreme,,,I am not that smart or techy, but I remain astounded at all the things that are out there ,,,and available ,,many are free,,,I AM IMPRESSED ,, I do checkers, chess, backgammon, poker, some simple shoot'em ups.., word games of various kinds,,,sometimes I even get to win !!!
Haven't done any baking in a while ,,must be about 3 or 4 weeks since ,,,,maybe I just needed something of a break from it ,,,,for a while at least ,, still have a load of muffins in the freezer I never got to move or give away..wonder how long they are good in the freezer ??..Got a few Brit TV comedies the last couple of weeks,,,they would never go over very well here ,,,there was a divide in comedy in England and the US,,,there were a lot of obvious exceptions ,, but for the most part the divide still exists I think....

I have those free apps loaded on my Android phone and I am addicted. Another fun one is Tiny Tower. At least I think it is.
