Mixed bag today. Couldnt get car worked on, but looks like it will work out tomorrow. Bought some groceries. Went out to eat with a friend.
I've been surprisingly good about holding on to my money. Have not felt like shopping in forever, which is a good thing.
My friend had been bugging me to not quit my job; to stay another year. When I told her tonight what happened with the ex last week, she finally agreed that I need to leave. Not that it really mattered cause I was going to no matter what she thought. But she FINALLY understands I cant be in this town with him and #4. Really it's him, not #4
Speaking of #4. She's been here since Thanksgiving. Tonight I finally found out where she is working. I really thought I would find out sooner, but no big deal. I wasn't asking around or anything. Turns out she works in the pharmacy of a store where I shop all the time-though it's not where I get my meds. I was also told that she has a reputation for not being very friendly with the customers. But, since I know she has over 10 years experience working with the public, I will take that with a grain of salt since it was a friend of mine saying so. Not that it matters...at all. I know she is a nice woman. I have nothing against her at all. There is no telling what BS my ex told her. Anyway, dont care. I will still go there to shop. It doesnt matter.
Tomorrow hoping to get car fixed and get to DMV to do what I need to do there. My mood is good. Still having to force myself out, but that's where the lists come in handy...staying on my meds. Life is good.

Great to hear you have got some forward momentum Jaclyn, keep it up:)
Trying. Biggest danger right now is that I will hibernate and sleep and not get things done that I need to do. The lists are helping me with that. When I told my friend what happened with ex last week, she was tickled. I had not really thought about it but she said it must have resulted in several emotions including anger and a sense of power. I need to make my lists longer though because I have a LOT of packing and cleaning to do.
Good for you Jackie!! You really are sounding good and there is a positive anticipation that is so evident in your writing lately.
This whole move plan seems to be the very very best things for you. Good luck with getting everything done and taken care of each and every day. I am so happy for you! You must feel so self empowered.
