I haven't wrote anything for a while now. Last week I was very busy. I had a housecleaning job and dogsitting to do. Now that the rush is over I can sit down and type. I made it thru Mother's Day. That was a hard day. Actually I've been having a very hard time the past week. It all seems to be hitting me at one time. First there was Mother's Day and Friday it will be exactly 9 months that BJ has been gone. Then on the 27th its BJ's birthday. Its just a hard month for me. I'm not sure if its all the special days this month or what but it all seems to be coming at me at once. It seems like I'm finally accepting the fact that he is gone and I won't see him again. I don't know if that makes any sense but thats just the way it feels. I've cried more lately than I did when he first passed.
On a more positive note on Mother's Day I got a sign from BJ. I always talk to him when I take the dog out at night. On Saturday night I told him the next day was Mother's Day and I'd really like a visit from him since it had been a while since he let me know he was okay. On Sunday morning I was sitting drinking my coffee when outside a bird started chirping really loud. I got up to see what it was and there on a tree not far from my porch was a Baltimore oriole. He didn't stay long but he was singing for me. I don't get the oriole very often so I figured that BJ sent him to me so I would know that he was okay.
Well I've rambled on enough for one day. Hope all is well with everyone.

I am so happy you got a sign for Mother\'s day. I wish we all got them more often then we do. Lots of hugs, Jake\'s mom, Kathy
I understand completely and I wrote in my journal almost the same thing.. I cry more now than I did before. This month we not only share our son\'s name, but the month of the birthday as well. Lots of hugs to you and the BJ\'s can keep the signs coming! Karen
yes it was deffinately a sign from your BJ. I believe he is a part of everything now and so when you see anything that is from nature and makes you think of him then it is him telling you he loves you. especially on mothers day it was him saying thank you for being his mom. It is normal for things to feel worse when the numbness wears off and you start to accept this as reality, although none of us will ever fully accept this, because it is too un-natural for us to lose our babies. take care
