Well here it is Friday. I don't do very well with Friday's. Thats the day BJ passed. I have found that keeping busy on Friday's helps. BJ's girlfriend had memorial cards made up when he passed and it has a great poem on it and I wanted to share it with everyone. I hope it helps.
I'm Free
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I took His hand when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
If my parting has left a void;
then fill it with remembered joy.
My life's been full, I savored much;
Good friends, good times,
a loved one's touch.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
ah yes, these things, I too , will miss.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Don't lenghten it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me;
God wanted me now, He set me free.
I hope this helps. When I read it, it always makes me cry but I also know that its true. He didn't want to leave but it was his time.

VERY beatifully put.
This poem was used in my son\'s memorial service and printed on the memorial leaflett. I love it. My son also was killed in vehicle accident--he was a work--he died 9/12/06--he was 19. After reading your journal entries, i realize that we have some of the same thinking and grieving and healing--Take care, LOVE NEVER DIES

I happened to see your posting on someone elses journal and got chills. My son\'s nickname was BJ as well and he was 25 when he died on 12/9/2006. My heart goes out to you and thank you for sharing a beautiful poem. It helped. Karen
I read your journal. Thank you for sharing.
