Hope
Never thought I would think this because I tend to be cautious, I have a glimmer of hope. Every since ES left, all I have heard if anything at all (mostly blocked on everything) has been rude and cursing. Today when our mutual friend brought GD over to our house, ES and the other GC accompanied him. He came to the door and told me the GC were all in his car and wanted to see us. We went to the car, all the kids got out and came and hugged us. Then I saw ES and simply said a quiet but loving "hello son". He said "hi how are you?" We made some small talk about the kids but spoke calmly with no hostility or anger. Needless to say when they left, I had tears in my eyes. I am trying not to read too much into this but I am certainly praying hard. So we have our 12 yr old GD until tomorrow afternoon. I am just enjoying every single minute, not hoping too much so that I'm not terribly hurt and disappointed but just glad for today. I asked him about having one of the 3 older ones once a month so it would only be 3 months between visits and not just their birthdays. He said he didn't care. So, I am easing into this and praying that maybe eventually I can have each one once per month that would be so great. Praying that God indeed in performing a miracle. ES just isn't the person who has been in his body lately so I am definitely praying that the real one will return. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I am well aware of how much all of this estrangement hurts and therefore keeping my feelings in check. I'll be totally crushed if all of this falls through but totally blessed if we can make progress.
Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. I pray for each and every one of you that God may give you a miracle and healing. It takes a lot to get even to this point and this may be an illusion, but my hearts, thoughts and prayers are with each one of you.

This is wonderful news!!!! I am so happy for you. I know you are being cautious but that\'s OK and very understandable. You\'ve been through a lot and so it\'s good to take a step back and be realistic about the pace you take things. I believe that God is working on bringing you all back together. It brought tears to my eyes too... reading about how your GC all hugged you. It gives me hope - very big hugs for you. I will keep praying for you!
