I just heard from my mom about grama.She has a fracture in her hip and must have surgery.The dr admitted her and tomorrow a surgeon will be in to see her and talk to mom.What makes this harder is grama has alzheimers and doesn`t understand any of this.I feel like I should go stay with her so shes not alone.She doesn`t remember I`m her granddaughter but she knows that she knows me.It might be easier for the dr if she had a fimiliar face there..she can get fiesty LOL! Just to let you know I had crushed my hip and had it reconstructed 4.5 yrs ago so if you need someone to talk to who has been through it I am here. I have also worked with alzheimer\'s patients doing home health care so I know how they can get. I will keep your family in my prayers and if you feel that you can do it then go stay with your grandma. I know how it feels. HUGS Kara
