ONE YEAR JOURNAL - Of note since it was almost a year ago precisely that I was fired from my AWFUL, TERRIBLE job at Continuum Health Partners in NYCity. I believe that, at the time, I did indeed suffer a nervous breakdown due to total stress on that job. My journal entries of a year ago are indicative of that. I never regret NOT GOING INTO THAT PLACE ever since, it was a life-killer job. I have never had one of those before where I dreaded just waking up to go to work. Time gives distance. Yes, money matters are still hard but not so dramatic as a year ago. I am paying off debt a I can (two stints of unemployment in 2007 is not fun) so I count this year as a mediocre one. BUT STILL HERE. So no thoughts of suicide as I did a year ago, occasional bad day of course, but financially I am far better off than many richer people who pay a price (Bernie Ebbers enjoys 3 square meals a day in prison and Bernard Kerik is in FAR WORSE shape than most all of us on this board. Michael Jackson just refinanced Neverland for only $23 million). Not bad considering...............
