fear

Fear. The word instantly brings certain scenarios to mind, but there different for different people. scientifically speaking fear is a reaction designed to help keep us safe from harm. We all should have a fear of falling, getting burned, drowning, or being eaten by a wild animal. That would be normal. But what happens when the fear reaction in your brain doesn't work right? I for one am much more afraid of getting into an argument with another person, than being confronted by a wild animal in the wild. ( I know because its happened ). Sometimes I'm just afraid to live through the day. Ever since I've started my therapy again, I've been experiencing a mounting level of anxiety. I think it has to do with the idea that at some point I will have to tell my story.... again. Again. yes that is the point that gets me the most. I have told my story before to a few very trusted people. So why should it be so much harder now? Its just frustrating. I wish that i could just break free from the control it has over me.
