Week 1

This week is a little better.  Due to taking care of Mom and going off of my hormone supplements, I lost five pounds.  I've gone from 208 to 203.  I've started eating only when I'm hungry, which is nice.  I'm trying to figure out if I have either gluten or lactose intolerance; evidence suggests either both or IBS.  Clearly I'm not too happy with that, but life happens; what else are you going to do?
I'm very glad to have discovering bead weaving.  It's a lovely hobby that challenges me as well as rewards me with a beautiful finished product.  I do wire-wrap and bead stringing, so bead weaving is just a natural next step.  It helps with the depression.
Tonight, I'm cooking for the family.  It's a fattier dish, but delicious and has its good points.  Pastry dough, coated with cream cheese, and then wrapped around a mixture of sausage, mushrooms, onions, and peppers.  I think tonight would also be a good time to cook up the two pounds of tilapia I have in the freezer, just to get it out of the way.  Maybe not...  We do have two pounds of goulash in the fridge right now...  Hmms...
