Why?
Why do I volunteer to fix things and pay for things that others can't or won't and then I don't even get a thanks from them!
Today, I worked outside under the hot sun putting the motor back together on the riding lawn mower. A few days ago, I picked up the head at the machine shop where I had the exhaust valve reseated. I paid the $90 and something to have that done, and another $5 for gasket stuff.
The reason why it broke to begin with was because ex took it out of the metal shed (which was mouse proof) to make room for bf's trash, and just kept it covered outside. Mice built a nest under the hood of the motor preventing it from cooling properly so it overheated and sucked in a valve!
Sometimes I feel like their father, like they are thinking, "That's ok! Dad will fix it!"
The roof leaks too which means someone will have to go up there and fix that. I know right where it's leaking and how to fix it but I haven't done that yet. All depends on how much longer I am here.
My thumb is extremely sore today also. The dr. told me to resume normal activities but that doesn't work. I can't put much pressure on my thumb, plus it is swelled up bigger then it has ever been. I think I may call the dr tomorrow and tell him about that.
So I haven't had a good weekend so far, but it will get better, I hope!

You need to be a little selfish and take care of you. After what they have done, are doing, you need to let them deal with things like that!
