weight

I have lost alot of weight so have been forcing myself to eat more.   This morning I made myself some french toast and shared them with my dog.  She stands up on her hind legs and balances herself with one paw on the counter, while watching me cook.  She's so cute!  She loves french toast!  I use pure canadian maple syrup. mmmmmm so good! I use wheat bread....better for me.  I will probably have a sandwich for dinner and one for supper.
I am very depressed today thinking how the divorce settlement is so much in her favor. To get what I deserve, I would have to go back to being the A hole that I was when I was drinking.  I don't want to do that and I know of no other way.  I don't know how to undo being my wife's doormat.
My AA sponser told me to bend over and take it like a man. How humiliating!

I don\'t think standing up for what is rightfully your share is being a A-hole. Too bad if wife does not like it...you owe her nothing other than fairness after her actions this past couple of months. And in return she owes you fairness but she wants as much as she can get. I would suggest a visit to a lawyer to find out were you stand and then make the decision on future actions.

Good idea Joyce. Thanks. Been leaning toward that solution.

There is no fairness in divorce... Not unless both parties wanted it, and are fully capable of understanding an equitable split...

Please get yourself to an attorney, and I would also mention to the attorney that this bf may be scamming her too. And soon you will both have nothing...

You want at least half of everything bob. Do not let them (wife and her attowny) bamboozle you into getting a settlement where she pays you monthly or weekly.. Somehow she has to come up with a payoff for you. Whether it be that the home gets sold and you split the proceeds, or she hands over her retirement... But DO NOT get the raw end of the deal...

Do not be agreeable. Let it go to trial if it has to. If she doesn\'t have the money for the attorney to have it go to trial, then it\'s a longer time you get to live in the house.

Tomorrow Please make an appointment with an attorney. Do not sign ANYTHING without an attorney review.

I almost hope that this is all prolonged so that bf runs back to mamma and you and your wife can make better divorce decisions...

What she is doing, what you are allowing, is all crazy. Fight Bob. Fight for what is yours.

Viv! Thanks for the pep talk but you know what? I found out the wife wants to keep me here indefinitely. She needs bf for sex and she needs me to \"fix things\" ! I mentioned that in front of bf and he wasn\'t very happy to hear that but she told me she would never kick me out should she get the house. Imagine that?

This is getting too weird for me! and I wouldnt believe anything she says. Where\'s the legal advisor I thought you were going to get? Sheis very strange and bf is strange to want to be part of it.
Good luck my friend-sorry if I am too blunt. Just concerned for you.
PS Drinking is not an option is it.

I am reserving my comments on the weirdness of this relationship. However, I will say that feeding your dog French toast is NOT good for your dog!

Oh YUMMY I want some french toast. Too bad I live so far away. As far as the wife goes sorry to say this but I think she is the one being an A-hole....not you. I am sorry she is treating you so poorly. I am here if you need to talk. You know how and where to find me. Just know that I love you and I am ALWAYS HERE for you.

Another thing to consider in the settlement as it was laid out a couple days back. Wife will owe you monthly payments...what will be your recourse if she does not pay? And I can see this happening. Will you forgive her and let it go?
Time to lawyer up Bob! Nice guys get lawyers too!

Just say again-for goodness sake dont sign anything unfair to you. That will confirm you to yourself as a doormat. I dont think your sponsor was helpful-or was he \"just joking\"?
