update
Today my wife asked me to call her lawyer. I have no idea why but she said if I did it would make things alot easier down the road.
I don't know what to do and I have a belly ache from the anxiety!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as the two lovebirds left to run some errands, I called her lawyer but got an answering machine. I left my number and he has yet to call me back.
I purchased some inventory today and that made a big dent in what little savings I had but it was a necessary purchase if I want to maintain my income level. Plus, I have to buy it when the "price is right". No, I don't watch that show, I hate game shows, hate watching other people get rich :)
Hugs!

If you go, do not go alone! Also, always, always, always think before you say anything! Don\'t sign anything on the spot. Take it home for you and someone else to review it prior to signing anything!
I get those nervous belly aches too!
Another step to complete the journey. You can listen and then as Kahlua make your decision at your pace after you digested whatever the lawyer has to tell you. It might be time to get legal consul.
Thankyou both. Thats what I will do.
You never want to be alone in a room with an attorney who\'s been hired by someone else to handle proceedings involving you. Definitely time to get a lawyer of your own.
I\'m telling you, LAWYER UP NOW and have your lawyer deal with this person.
Deb is right, you don\'t want to be alone with him.
DUDE, LAWYER, NOW!
Thanks Deb and Dave. I am just talking to the guy over the phone but if he gives me a hard time, I will get a lawyer.
Lawyers can be very good at not giving you a hard time until you\'re in a courtroom with them and they\'re ripping your life apart. Some go in for in-your-face intimidation, trying to get you to settle on the terms they want, but the dangerous ones let you hang yourself with your own words. DO NOT talk to someone else\'s lawyer without your own. ESPECIALLY if it\'s going to \"make things alot easier down the road.\"
Please Bob,,,,get that LAWYER!!!!
ditto, ditto ditto...PLEASE talk to an attorney.
Wife, her attorney and BF are going to hit you from the side without you seeing it coming. And stop doing nice things for her, like the gas and repairing the car. Time to think of only you. And document the hell out of what they are doing (wife and bf) How much extra is it costing you to have him in your home? There are so many questions.
He needs a lease, he needs to pay rent. Don\'t let them walk on you.
Bob, please talk to someone with legal knowledge. Time is f the essence!
I really don\'t like lawyers, they are expensive, and if I can do this myself then I think I will feel better about it in the longrun. Thanks viv but I don\'t know what they could possibly hit me with, I did nothing wrong. I have been around for awhile and it would take alot to pull the wool over this birds eyes :)
Bob........ You will be taken advantage of unless you lawyer up. You cannot handle this on your own and you will walk away homeless and penniless. Don\'t fool yourself.
Lawyers often record their phone calls - be careful Bob. Talk with a lawyer of your own first. Even though it may sound like a steep sum, it will be worth the $300-$400 for an hour talk with a lawyer of your own choosing.
OK Ok you guys talked me into it. I will speak with a lawyer before I make any move. Thanks for caring!
I really wish that my ex and I had used the same lawyer....but he was being a jerk and in the end it ended up costing me $12,000 and for what? Not much at all. I wish that we (the ex) and I could have been more cordial. Wait...I wish that the ex had been more cordial so we could have finished the divorce sooner and saved a little bit of money. Consult with a lawyer...do your research and then make your decisions. You know you are in my thoughts Bob. I haven\'t had my laptop otherwise I would try and chat with you. Take care
DO NOT COOPERATE WITH HER LAWYER FOR ANY REASON. He knows VERY WELL that you are in a very strong position here. She has moved her boyfriend INTO YOUR HOUSE. This is NOT a \"no fault\" divorce, it is proven adultery. The house is YOURS, NO alimony. WHY do you insist on NOT getting yourself an attorney? Do you not SEE how you are being abused here?
