6/23/2013 This is a rant so be warned

I consider myself a thinking and forward thinking progressive ,,, I have never agreed with the radical wing of the right ,,, but now I do,,, This Snowden episode totally discredits any credibility of the progressive power structure of the Government and I feel personally betrayed ...Schumer and Pelosi should know better than this ,, The issue for me is that the someone had the balls to call the game that had obviously been taken to a very new and scary level,, Snowden was in a position to do what no one had the balls to do,, and take it out of self interests for the sake of the nation,,, He knew that he would lose his job,, he knew that the government would come after him relentlessly, he knew that his salary would be gone...who amongst you would forfeit a 6 figure salary to do something that is the least selfless thing imaginable. The government instead of fixing the problem decided to go nuclear on this guy instead ..
 
Obviously this is a political rant ,,,but this thing has me REALLY  PISSED OFF...
