Been attempting to job my muffins myself,,and find outlets that will carry them,,,,I wanted to focus on 12 step clubs ,,I am in recovery so that is a perfect match for me,,,,unfortunately,,, I am not good at all on the sale side of this effort,,and I get intimidated and take refusals or no rather badly,,,,so I need to find someone to take that part of this enterprise in hand,,,I was feeling that perhaps I should give up the whole endeavor ,,,,,but that seems silly...they are a very very good product ,,I have had several over the weekend bad bad me :( ...
so,,,I have to figure out some kind of strategy here ,,,at some point I want to do an internet mail-order ,,,that is coming with muffins shipped in a straw basket ,,,which I can get very easily,,and they are a good device to send them in,,,I am working on several ideas,,,,

Do as Sam Walton the creator of WalMart did - give 10% of all profits earned to the seller of the merchandise with no top limit. Let the sell themselves silly. Make the percentage higher at first if that will help move the product and get your reputation established?
Give samples of your product as Mrs Smith\'s of \'Mrs Smith\'s\' Cookies did when she was getting started.
I agree as far as giving a certain percentage of profits to the seller *at first*. In fact, higher at first might not be a bad idea.
As far as 12-step communities are concerned, since they\'re probably non-profit and many people give them goodies free for consumption at meetings, they would probably expect those muffins as donations to them.
