6-10 to 6-23 It's wearing me down....
HS makes things change so quickly. I can go to sleep with nothing and wake up witha brand new one or a major blow out and that's just not even fair. Neither isthe fact that no matter what you do to try and stop it everything is onlytemporary.
I am very blessed that HS is my biggest health problem (I'm aware of) and I do nothave it as bad as some cases out there. It is so relentless and depressingit wears me down no matter how I try. I can feel it suck the life right out of me and there is nothing I can do. I don't like feeling helpless or hopeless so I keep tryinganything and everything but it seems to just be chasing it around my body.
My doctors' answer is antibiotics but I'm done with that until I have no choice.I'm not down with the whole surgery thing either, once again until I have no choice. I think it is an immune system related problem and I don't know why they won't try to help that. Even my super supportive husband is so frustrated with it all I thinkhe's turning on me..
I still take the same meds HRT, Xanax Extendo Tabs 2mg and an aspirin. The Emuaidtrial has not given the long term results I'd hoped for. I had to stop using itfor a day or two under my breast it was so irritated. I continued to use it onmy stomach and there has been no opening or draining. It causes inflammation sothat causes pain.
Under my right breast is my worse spot right now. Once it drains then another onecomes right next to it or like this time one comes right in the middle of the last one. Always something...if it's not a big one it is usually about quarter size with another inch of red around that and streaks running off of that red ringsometimes. The whole area is full of pressure and fever. Scary!!! Under my left breast is about twenty small pen point size ones that have been spreading fast and a bunch of old scars from before. That was the bad side. My stomach has one about dime size that seemed to have dried out but now is inflamed and very sore. The other scars on my stomach are healing up with no special care. Some of the Now the newest area of attack is my c-section/hysterectomy scar. It was just a pain and then a bump and then this morning a bloody mess. Now it's all ugly again and that scar was finally looking good. Not to mention the things starting up deep under the skin down below I've got to look forward too. How do you keep keeping on?
Sunshine and saltwater at any beach are the highlight of the summer! The humidity and heat are a bummer but you can't have a good beach day without it. It's back to work on Monday! I wish the weekends lasted longer and I didn't have to spend them recovering from the week but thankful to have it.
Prayers for everyone; for relief, to be healed and to keep us looking up!
