Update

Well, its been a while since I wrote here last.  The CPA exam part that I took, I failed.  I hate myself for that.  I have never been a good test taker, but I was hoping I could pull this off.  Now I wonder if I should keep trying or just give up on become a CPA.  I just feel really depressed with everything now.  I had been telling myself that once I become a CPA I will be making more money so I can start saving more to be able to do somethings in my life that I haven't been able to because I didn't have the money.  Well, now I feel like my life is never going to change because I can't pass a DAMN exam that would help me make some changes.  I just want to curl up and cry for days.   It was my 37th birthday yesterday.  This just made me think more about the fact that my life is going nowhere.  I feel like I should have been able to be happy by now, but apparently that is not in the cards for me.  I want to take a vacation from everything.  I wish I could just run away for a few days, with no one to answer to and nothing to worry about.  I just hate everything right now.

I'm so sorry to hear about your test results. Rather than thinking you failed the test, I prefer to think you failed one test one time. I'm a college graduate with a Bachelor degree in English / Tech Writing. I had to take my grammar class three times before I passed! Please don't be too discouraged. Keep at it! Your opinion is the only one that matters. Many attorneys take the BAR exam more than once...oh, heck, they take it more than twice. Success is earned and I think you took a great first step. Is there any way you can find out which questions you got wrong so you can study better for the next time you take the test?

I don't think your life is going nowhere. You took the CPA exam. I've never done that. You're doing a good job. Breaks and distractions are important but please don't quit altogether.
