Sad day

Well...today started pretty well...still working happily...then I got some text messages from Cassi's ex-girlfriend Hayley. Hayley told me about a new therapist she has started seeing because of violent and disturbing "flashbacks" and she feels like she sees Cassi everywhere. Her despair and descriptions of some visions and flashbacks, well just took me back to the sadness. Cassi was so secretive there at the end. She was hiding so much from me and showing certain people certain aspects of herself and her life. I know there is a lot I don't know. So, I am asking the hard questions...pleading for more information..knowing it will hurt but I feel it would be cowardly to avoid or hide from the worst of it...so trying to get more information...

As moms I know we want to know all the truths, but in the end the truths won\'t change what happened. I finally gave up asking the questions. Nothing will ever make sense as to the journey we are now. (HUGS) Sue xo

If more information feels healing for you then seek it. If not, it serves no purpose and it is that curiosity and the need to \"know\" that really only makes things worse for most of us.

I could make up my own worst nightmares over my son and didn\'t need anyone confirming what my heart and mind were already trying to deal with.

You can be supportive of Hayley without needing to hear all the details as this is between her therapist and her. I\'m not sure I even understand why she contacted you and look how it changed what was a good day into one where you are feeling deep sadness.

Please be so very careful with your tender and healing heart dear Gina. It is not cowardly or hiding to not seek this information that Cassi was trying to protect you from.

Heartfelt (((hugs)))

Joanie is so wise. I know that Lisa\'s situation was much different than Cassi. She had surgery that, in my opinion, was a result of malpractice. I learned details that haunt me to this day. I wish now that I hadn\'t read the notes.
I know you will do what is right in your heart. I am so sorry that Cassi\'s friend involved you. I suspect she feels that you are someone who understands her pain.
Please only do what feels right to you. As Joanie says, Cassi wanted to protect you.
Love and huge hugs,
Marlene

I would caution you my dear friend; as Joanie says, sometimes the \"need to know\" only makes things worse. BUT, YOU have to do what you feel is right. For me, I return to the truth Kala spoke to me......\"Love is all that matters\".

Cling to the LOVE, and let the rest melt away.

These are my thoughts, and the reason the medical examiners report remains sealed in it\'s envelope to this day...and always will.

I love you!

I agree with all the comments that most of the Moms have posted. \"The need to Know\" only makes things worse. Think about it and really figure out what you need to do and don\'t just rush in. Hold onto the love and happiness that Cassie brought you. Love Ya, Nell
