Monday
Well, it is Monday again...since I am not working now I don't have the Monday blues anymore. They used to torment me and make me so miserable...however, I am looking for a job, so I may be back in the saddle again soon.
I have been reading and studying so much lately...right now I am drawn to Dr. Wayne Dyer. It happens that way. I feel drawn to a magnificent teacher that provides the guidance that I need at the time. It is so astounding to me...the community of people I turn to to learn, teach ancient lessons yet are termed "New Age" by normal society...oh well, I have never fit in with normal society and think I would be quite bored if I tried.
I went to a alternative learning center today. I was hypnotized, which I believe was sort of a deep relaxed almost meditative state...I did see Cassi, spent time with her, but she didn't talk to me. It was really nice to meet people of the same mindset as me, have the same faiths and beliefs as me...we could speak on a level that didn't have to be explained.
I am learning so much, or rather, remembering, since it is my belief that spirit knows all, but when we are born our ego takes over and blocks that knowledge and fights every day to stay in control...I can't force my beliefs on anyone, nor would I want to. Studying the ancient religions, or spirituality, it is hard to believe, because in fact it seems too good to be true. By the way, even though there were many teachers years before the birth of Jesus, if you look deeply into his teachings as well as studying the ancient religions, it is beautiful...there is a thread of truth running through them and that truth is love. If we could just get this through our heads, into our tiny human brains...the truth is the truth...all we need is love...love one another and everything else will fall into place.

I know what you mean about feeling worried about starting a new week and looking forward to some the hardships we have to face. I am glad you didn\'t have to deal with that today. That is how I was feeling when I had to deal with things too. I wish you luck with your job hunting and I hope everything will go well for you. It is nice that you are getting into Wayne Dyer and enjoying his teaching. Wayne Dyer really helped me too. I liked some of his books that I have read from him and they helped me a lot. I hope you have lots of fun learning and growing and enjoying Wayne Dyer. Hugs and love and thank you for your nice comment to me today. I greatly appreciated it and your friendship.
\"Love IS all that matters.\" Words spoken from our dear Kala, Teri\'s daughter and never forgotten by me. If everything we approached in this life could come from love, gratitude and abundance and not from fear and lack... Oh, what a different world this would BE.
Grateful you are seeking some healing tools for yourself and the timing of employment is out of your hands. I know that I shared that I began my search early on and each door felt closed until Spirit knew I was ready. Then the flood gates opened and everything fell into place. Perhaps your \"work\" now is exactly what you are doing... Seeking and finding healing tools that you are incorporating into your life now.
Oh, I had the worst Monday blues most especially when I was teaching. Used to begin to feel them on Sunday afternoon and now not to have them is such a gift. Understanding what you are describing there!
Gentle care and thank you for sharing, Gina, what you are seeking as I know I have many tools that I use as well. Some for a time, others are a foundation and I appreciate trying new things too.
My daughter and I had the chance to meet Wayne Dyer at a conference he did in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was such a gift for us and he was promoting some of his children\'s books and had all the pregnant women come up to the stage and receive a book and a hug from him. My daughter was expecting her first, our Haven, so what a thrill that was. He resides in Maui and I can\'t wait to see him either coming out of a yoga studio or at one of his gigs. :)
Love your way dearest Gina and always for your Cassi,
XO Joanie
Ohmygoodness!!! I would be starstruck...yet he is so humble...I can see him saying to me, \"Pull yourself together woman\"...Lol...I had a thought when you said you were a teacher and the Monday blues set in on Sunday afternoon...I had a thought I feel compelled to share, so it might have meaning for someone...I was always a little nerd...when I was 12 years old I was volunteering for the Democratic National Committee...so funny now to see a 12 year old and they look like babies...anyway, I say that because Sundays nights were for 60 minutes...there was a thrill that came with the sound of the clock ticking...I was going to learn important, grown-up things...then there was the dread that the ticking clock meant...tomorrow is Monday...Lol
Oh I remember that tick tock tick tock.
I have such anxiety when I have to back to work after the weekend. Never had. It before.
Peace to you.
