Don't want to be at work today listening to students/ and adults whine about how tired they are because of their "celebration" for Mother's Day.....Don't want to listen today to everyone else....Don't want people to ask "how was your week-end?" - they don't understand....no-one can possibly understand to be a daughter without a mom and a mom without her only child, my precious daughter.....Just don't want to be here with this life.....SIGH......one of those days.....

Gotcha...I totally understand....everyone has asked how was your Mothers Day finally I said it kinda, \"SUCKS\"...no one else has asked....I dont want to be ugly but it is what it is, right?
Yeah, I totally get it. I felt the same way when I was working. I just put on my headphones and waited for the day to pass. Funny, I did that quite a bit at work. I guess it was my way of shutting myself out.
I hope that the week ahead sheds some more light your way. It\'s a roller coaster ride I\'m afraid. But for me the drops get farther apart as the time rolls by.
Sending you love, tight hugs and peace,
Diane
It sucks, I agree. In some ways life is getting harder and harder and I am not so sure I want to be in it.
Mother\'s Day will never be the same. It\'s a battle all day long for me to maintain any control over my emotions. I hate that this comes around every year. It\'s weird to remember that I USED to actually like Mothers\' Day.
People just don\'t think. It is too bad we can\'t stick our fingers in our ears and say lalalalalalalala until they stop talking.
I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
Love and tight hugs, Marlene
Sorry it had to be this way...
right there with you.... sigh...
I know that feeling. Just want the world to stop and let me off...
Hope things feel better for you, soon..
(((HUGS)))...Julia
Oh Vicki, I am so sorry. I know how much this hurts. A couple of years ago I decided to take the day after Mother\'s day off so I have for the last couple of years. I am a social worker in a school setting and surrounded by mostly female co-workers. I cannot take the 8 hour recap of all the wonderful things they did on mothers day. I returned to work yesterday and someone said to me, \"How was your mothers day?\" What the heck?! My co-workers all know my only child died! I said, \"its very mixed for me\" and then I walked away. Sigh..Tight hugs, Linda
My comment is \" its just another day\" and move on. I have found out a lot of people think that way even if they haven\'t lost a child. Keeping you chin up is a lot of hard work, keep working on it.
Tight hugs Penny
