Shock
Just a quick note as I am at work but my heart is heavy and I know that you all care - I have worked in the school district for 14 years, some of those years in elementary school and am now @ a middle school so I have followed some families through the ladders of different schools.
Today I got news that a mom died this past week-end by suicide. I am in such shock - to look at this mom she "appeared to have it all together" - husband, 3 successful children, active in her church, lots of friends....blah blah blah....One never knows do they? what demons some fight? I have worked with this family over the 14 years through elementary school and now middle school.....
Please keep this family in your prayers - have a heavy heart for those kids - how do you explain this? Thinking about each one of us today - sending hugs to all. Vicki

We, as people, moms especially, learn to put on such masks. We so concerned about what others may think of our weakness, that dare not reach out. I am. So sad for that family. Those kids and their dad will have the added burden of undeserved guilt to contend with as well as the loss of their mom.

I,AM SO SORRY TO HEAR HEAR THIS. I NEVER COULD COMPREHEND HOW DOWN AND MISERABLE SOMEONE IS TO END THEIR OWN LIFE. ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY SEEM TO HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER. LOOK AT ROBIN WILLIAMS I WAS SHOCKED HUNG HIMSELF . . I HAD JUST WENT UP TO LOS VEGAS AND SAW HIM HE WAS SO GOOD. VERY SORRY FOR YOUR FRIEND AND HER FAMILY LOVE M ARY ANN BLESS YOUR ANGEL
What a tragedy. You are so right. We have no idea what demons people are battling. Sometimes that happy go lucky demeanor covers huge pain and heartache.

SO, so sorry... No, none of us truly does know what goes on in a person\'s heart and mind, do we?
This family will need a lot of support and tender loving care.
Sending love your way dear Vicki as this kind of thing rocks an already tender heart. Each loss is felt in such a deeper way I have discovered since the loss of Douglas.

I shake my head,,, no ones knows what she was going through,,,, prayers for her family...
I\'m so sorry to hear about this, Vicki. My heart goes out to this family & what they must go through now. What could have been gnawing at this woman so much that she saw no other way but to end it all? We may never know. Her family is going to need a whole lot of care, understanding & support.
Sorry that YOU had to be one of the individuals affected by this tragedy. I know you really feel it.

You have no idea how much I needed to hear this today of all days....I am not in a good place theses days ....my youngest child is so very difficult and I feel that she hates me and could care less if I lived or NOT!!! I dont understand but with time I am sure that I will but you have to take one day at a time...I am so sorry for the family and your loss.....I will keep all of you in my prayers and good thoughts....gretcho
I\'m so very sorry - how terribly sad and what an awful shock for everyone. You too. We never really know what goes on in other people\'s lives - or their minds. I do hope you are doing okay - take care of yourself. Prayers all the way round.

We in the northeast have been snowed in...piled on with drifts everywhere..this is nothing compared to what has poured over you these past weeks. I cannot imagine how overwhelming it is to deal with all those emotions, both yours and theirs. It is almost impossible to not internalize it. You, Vicki, are my new hero.
