Wednesday

Hello SOTH - Well it's Wednesday and I am just so-so today. I have been resting, trying to take care of myself since I have been going going,, going and doing. doing. doing.....Yesterday I went to GoodWill to drop off some of my things that I no longer need and of course I had to go look inside....LOL - just dropped off stuff and here I am looking for more..... Anyway in looking at dishes, pictures, etc. I saw a couple of posters in frames that I had dropped off last week  of my daughters. She loved Einstein and there in plain site was the picture I had donated - now with a price tag on it for someone else to enjoy but I stood there at that picture flooded with memories....I have kept just a few items of Einstein in memory of her but I realized at that very moment, life goes on. No-one buying that picture will have the memories attached to it but they will create new memories with it....Einstein lives on so to speak as well as my daughter.
I am realizing that I can be anywhere and am reminded of my daughter. I try to be open to that because I so desperately need to feel that connection. I sure miss you Jennifer - Oh my precious daughter who I believe is in Jesus presence, with no pain, no tears, just a crown wearing proudly for fighting the good fight...I love you my daughter and miss you so so much this Wednesday!!!  SIGH...JUST BREATHE......

There is no such thing as coincidence. Those posters were there to acknowledge your feelings. God allows our kids to love us still...bodies go, but souls do not and love never does.

This is exactly how I feel about it....

Someone is wearing Kala\'s clothes and shoes and carrying her purses. Someone who will never know my child, and yet, because of LOVE, her things are bringing joy, pleasure, and warmth to others. Perhaps my Kala\'s favorite things are now some other young girls favorite things. That thought makes me smile.

Kala is in everything I do! Most especially when it involves donating her belongings.

Peace and LOVE to you and to Jennifer!

Grateful that you have been resting and Jennifer IS in everything that you say, think and do...

The releasing of those things that they touched, were in their everyday lives and mattered to them is not easy to do. Yet, just as you said now others are enjoying them and creating their memories.

Move into the tenderness as you are and know that I send healing hugs your way.

So difficult to release our child\'s belongings. A few months after Jason left us I realized it was time to let go of his things. Being an only child and a clothes horse, Jason had a room full of stuff. I called our local young mens homeless shelter and they came by and collected all his clothes, his computer, etc. and were just so very thankful to have some nice clothes for all the teenagers that come into the shelter with nothing. So, as Teri says, the kids wearing our childrens clothes and other belongings will never know the child that once wore and enjoyed them, but they will help to give these forgotten kids some joy in dressing in clean and nice attire, and may even help them in their job search. So nice that you saw the posters that you dropped off. Jennifer gave you a wink. Much love being sent your way. Katrina

Giving can be so restoring for us! After Michael died, my brother went with me in Michael\'s place to my younger sons graduation from college. My brother had no decent shoes to wear so I gave him Michaels. Bobby (my brother) first said he was not sure he could wear Michael\'s shoes, which were practically brand new. I told Bobby to take them, that Michael would want him to walk in them. Those shoes are long gone now, but were used until they wore out. I was a huge skeptic person about \"signs\" in the beginning but after so many that I could not explain, I believe in signs for sure now!
Peace.

It is wonderful that you are open to signs and winks from Jennifer. They will appear when you need them. My grief counselor taught me to embrace the signs and it is so helpful. Your daughter is with Jesus but still in a relationship with you; she is close by. The love endures. Hugs, Linda

I don\'t care what people think about me anymore...if I break down, I just go with it...the only thing I worry about is driving...when I am by myself and driving. That\'s the only time I try to hold it in, because it\'s dangerous. Which poster was it??? Cassi and I have always loved Einstein too...just wish he\'d have worked out Quantum Physics before he died, figured out how to cross the time space continuum...I\'d like to go back and visit.
