Well, I have been reading a lot of info and posts on www.naabt.com re: the pain pill addiction. I'm very nervous about November 5th. That is the day I made an appt. with the addiction Dr. to go on Suboxone. Last time I went on Suboxone, I was addicted to pain pills for over 6 years, painfully weaned myself down to 1 pill a day, but couldn't take it anymore and get myself past the 1 pill a day, and went on Suboxone. I only took the suboxone for one day and then HONEST TO GOD I was clean for over a year and a half before shattering my left foot and going back on pain pills. Shortly after my dad died, and I wasn't just taking the pills for physical pain, but also emotional, here I am. Now it's about 200 pills a week and $800 as well to keep up the habit and I'm real sick of it. I was able to live without them before, however I didn't have osteo-arthritis in my neck before either. I had a bone density test and have the bones of a 60 yr old at 38, but I'm betting that's from the years of vicodin abuse, as it doesn't just ruin your kidney's and liver, it does a lot more damage than one would think. ANYWAYS!!! I WILL get off these and live a great life, just like before, it's just a matter of time!!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!
