Father's day

Well today I can't help thinking of James Robert.  He loved his dad so much.  I don't know why it hurts to remember that but it does. James Robert's birthday is on the 25th of July. It has been a year and a half since he died and instead of getting easier it has been harder.  Every holiday, every birthday, heck every day seems to shred my battered heart a little more.  He is never coming home. I will never hear his voice or see his smile. On March 8 last year I was 438 lbs. Today I weighed in at 358 lbs.  James Robert would have been proud of me, but I just haven't been interested in anything, let alone food since he died.  I put on a show of caring but in truth my soul died with my baby.

I understand; I lost my son, Charlie, about a year & a half ago, too.

My heart is with you. It does get easier but there will always be a hole in your heart. It is Father\'s Day today. It was a non day. Our son called to say Happy Father\'s Day but the rest of the day was just a day.
The finality of losing a child is like nothing anyone can understand unless they are one of us. Let the tears flow and feel the feelings and know that you are not alone.
Love and tight hugs,

My son died before his son was born he never will have a Fathers Day. I think that is why my hubby was down today because his buddy is not here . It has been 7 years not has hard as year 2 or 3. The special days still get ya down.

Thank you all for understanding. It helps to know I am not alone with these terrible feelings. Your kind words help me get through the day. I often go back and reread your comments and take heart that I am not alone. Thank you all.
