My work day is over and I now dread the quiet times where the reality punches me very hard in the face....that Aaron is gone.  I go through my days, living from moment to moment.  Glad when I've gotten certain tasks finished and moving on.  But when my work day is done, that means a very sad time awaits.
I am going through the motions...I used to really look forward to going home and now there really isn't joy in it.  Don't get me wrong, I love to be with my children.  Its just hard doing this without their dad.  My parents are no substitute for their father even though they are helpful.
Aaron, I wish things were different. Love you

I agree. This is not easy to do alone. And it sucks being home alone night after night once my daughter is in bed. I\'ve been doing this since Dec. 9, 2012 when my wife first went into the hospital for what we thought would just be a few days. It doesn\'t suck any less now than it did then.
