Doing fairly good today, I guess. slept too much and my internal clock is all out of whack but I do that every weekend. Still very very weepy/emotional. Not sure how much of it is I need to get my meds filled and how much of it is dreading Mother's Day, Father's Day, and my dad's birthday. My sis went to the cemetary Friday to put out flowers. I think it's the first time she's been able to get out there since they finished my dad's side of the stone. She posted the pic and I just.....ahem. She says she's been the same way and so has one of my brothers, which is not like him. Sigh...but he's getting married next year and it's on all of our minds that our parents won't be there and that they would have got a kick out of him finally getting married.
On the funny side, I have a friend who got a baby goat last week and the stories coming from her have me rolling on the floor in hysterics--LOL.last night she was trying to put a coat on him because he wouldnt go out to do his business because it was cold. between the Dr. Suess type goat/coat things being posted and the concept of putting a coat on a goat because he wouldnt go out in the cold...lol friends..gotta love them even when they are totally nuts.
But tomorrow starts another week and who knows the wonderful things it may hold for us. Have a good one.

Your story of the goat with the coat put a smile on my face. A death of a parent will always be with you but it does get easier. I think of my dad often. He will always be with me. I think your parents will be too.

Thanks Trish. I had planned to spend Mother\'s Day having a humongous pity party, but didn\'t happen that way. On top of that my lazy Gene went awol and I got some things done around the apt. LOLOL-oh that goat. he\'s a Nigerian pygmy dwarf goat and very small. All the women are going \"awwwww\" and all the husbands are sayin \"Hell, NO! don\'t even think about it.\" She lives on a farm out in the boonies of Arkansas. has a couple horses, a bunch of dogs, and now George-the goat. She didn\'t tell her husband. He thought she was going to walmart for baking supplies (she sells cheesecakes) but instead she traded a cheesecake for this goat. He\'s adorable. She took him home and then much later posted \"He said I don\'t need a goat. But he didn\'t say I couldn\'t have one\". She has pics of the goat meeting various dogs. The funniest one is the black lab named \"Little Bear\". He and the goat are sitting on the couch and the dog is looking at my friend with this expression of \"I can\'t believe you did this to me. Just wait till you go to sleep. I bet you think this is funny, huh.\' The goat is still young and has to be bottle fed. So she feeds him a bottle and rocks him to sleep singing a \"lullaby\"--She\'ll be coming round the mountain... Oh the stories go on and on..I mentioned she was nuts, huh? I get the giggles just thinking about it and seeing the pics. He follows her everywhere. Sits at her feet while she works on her computer. If she goes outside and he can\'t for some reason, he shrieks..hahaha. She said for Mother\'s Day, her husband \"goat-sat\" so she could take a nap...oh man, gottta stop or i\'ll be laughing all night.
