Been a Frustrating couple of days...  I had been generally feeling pretty decent for the last couple of weeks.  What started it yesterday is that I own a business that requires pretty moderate physical activity in customers homes. Similar to heavy vacuuming.  I started sweating buckets.  Where a normal individual might have light perspiration on their brow, my shirt was completely soaked front and back.  Face completely soaked dripping off my nose.  Had an anxiety attack from that!  Had to walk outside towel off and take half a Xanax.  I HATE having this stuff happen on jobs where my reputation and business is on display.  I’m getting so tired of it...  So now I’m convinced that I have antidepressant induced excessive sweating as I’ve been on Pristiq for about a year.  I also take a beta blocker and the aforementioned Xanax as needed only.  So my trip now is that I should come off of pristiq.  I really hate being on medication btw but also I have had enough experience with the medication to say YES since I have been taking it the attacks have become less frequent less severe and they don’t last as long.  Is it really a result of the medication?  Or has it just been enough time that I have started to feel better?  I obviously still have occasional anxious states or attacks.  Wouldn’t I be in the same boat without these psych meds?  Ugg I’m frustrated.  I want to punch anxiety/panic in the throat.

Hello, BPSwan. I followed you from your post comment in the Anxiety Forum. No, I'm not really that bored, but I have a hefty list of chores I'm procrastinating on. Does procrastinating on-line make me smarter?

I doesn't believe your gender makes you a minority in the psycho drain of anxiety, but you are, indeed, a minority in the anxiety forum. Maybe even on the entire DS website, but I don't care enough to do the research on that one. In my strictly personal psychotherapy needs, I believe a balanced perspective is critical. My life has been one of extremes and finding balance between the extremes feels like a matter of life and death to me. Sanity and psychosis?

Guess I'm rambling and far from sure what I am fishing for here. Just rattling your cage, I s'pose. . . This journal entry is nearly 2 years old. Far too late to welcome you aboard. Just rattling. . .
