So let's see...    Tuesday was so-so, Wednesday was GOOD (but I got very sleepy toward the end), and today was okay; J was off so we went out for lunch like we used to B.C. ("Before Child"). I had 2 Irish coffees, had a nice afternoon trying to shop for groceries while being somewhat inebriated, and didn't have to make dinner because J and L wanted pizza. So I tidied up a bit....but wait. What's this? Is the discomfort that I feel in my gut from the drinks I had earlier, or is it the Menopause Monster again? I don't know....and I won't know until I'm in the throes of it, either. It's funny; five years ago, when I got stomach upset, I'd take a Tums and go about my business. Now, even the slightest little activity down there sparks a whole chain of anxiousness and worry, which can turn easily to frustration ("Ohmigod, THIS again! I've got so many things to do including meet a client! How am I supposed to get anything done?!") to downright fear and sorrow (these last emotions brought on by the sheer hell that my Episodes are wrought with -see any of my last entries).   So all I can do is warn the hubby, take a Gas-X, go to sleep, and see what tomorrow brings. I have to try not to think about what a pain it is to live in this society, not to mention move forward in my life on things that I need to get started so I can accomplish them before I leave this world, without having to take it one day at a time, never making appointments or schedules because I really don't know how I'll be in 24 hours, much less next Monday. I HAVE to accept it, because until I'm finally over menopause, this is how it is; getting mad and frustrated about it only makes things  worse.  Gotta go to bed. Wish me luck, as I wish good luck to you.
