Today
Well, I am glad I went to that Pilates class last night...I think. I know it's supposed to be good for strengthening in the long run-yet right now, it is difficult for me to go about chores and quite frankly, well...just move. Hopefully, once I get up and moving about the pain will subside...it's all good, right?
Soreness I understand, but this is uhmm, crazy pain! The scapula's are practically kissing. One thing I want to look into is a medi brace. I spoke to an orthodist (I think) who fits people for all kinds of equipment/orthopedic appliances and devices and he said to look into one. It does require a Rx and has to be fitted but I have never seen one like it. I have spent thousands on back supports, bras, tummy/back control shirts, etc. and none of it has helped; actually, I think it made the pain much worse. This device straps lower around the waist and allows total freedom for movement in the arms and does not affect the chest area at all! It says that it helps straighten the spine and encourages the core to build muscle and strength to support your own body. It's worn only like an hour at a time a couple of times throughout the day. I hope it will work for me and I can get one.
Off to a slow start but a start nonetheless. Have a warm, toasty, accomplished day...I will pace myself to complete tasks and when I can't do it anymore...then that'll be it. No pushing today(need some ice for a few minutes to put out the fire burning up my spine)
It will be okay...it will. See, when I proof read I recognize the ups & downs of my mood. I realize it's because experiencing physical pain constantly just wears me down mentally. And, since I still have my marbles and hyper it's very frustrating and causes anxiety not being able to be like I was pre-surgeries. It'll be okay ;) I don't want to click the orange for bad since that's negative and I want to think positive so I suggest DS puts in a check box; check, check-plus, and check-minus! so I can check the yellow for okay with a check-minus! lol

Don\'t get discouraged! It is very easy for us to do so.... Hang in there!!
If the brace will help you, by all means try to get it... try hard to get your insurance company to approve it.
It is rough when you are trying to do anything and have physical conditions like we do.... I get discouraged so quick because of it. I\'ll try to do a little and then I a back in the bed for a couple of days..
I tell you, it\'s nice having people to talk to who have similar health issues because before surgery, I really couldn\'t understand how people could be in so much pain daily...now I understand, and it sux.
How\'s it going with you...did you contact the dr for Rx?
It\'s not that easy here.... I currently don\'t have a primary doctor to contact..... Neurosurgery won\'t help, so its kinda a lost cause.... right now I am in the transition and no luck for me..... If I would have someone to contact I can say that it would take up to 10 days to get it filled anyways.... So i am out of luck
