good day

Wow there's a lot of snow and ice now outside.  I'm so thankful I still had two sons home from college to help my husband clear the driveway, stoop, and sidewalk. I stayed toasty warm and worked at my desk diligently to clear away the clutter. After at least an hour or two I went back to bed and snuggled with my comforter  :)  when they all came back, I went and cooked home fries with scrambled eggs or French toast.  After cooking and cleaning up I felt good leaving the kitchen with the dishwasher and even a load of laundry going!  Yea go me
I continued with paperwork (definitively procrastinated) and finally finished around 4:30ish.
After taking my sons to the doctors,  the three of us  went the gym.  I did the elliptical for 3 sets of 5 min  so I don't hurt anyone
I worked a lil on triceps, back stretching on ball,  and abs.  I worked on my core by doing crunches on the ball and 1 min. Planks -front and side. Felt good.

So proud of myself I stuck it out and went to the gym. I did have to take a power nap 10 min or so but then my son Kev and I went in.
We start w 10 minutes in the sauna (and if felt so good because it\'s so cold) and then he went to do elliptical and I took my Pilates class. Didn\'t know what to expect-whoa what a challenge. . Concentrated on core and went a pace that made it fun(?!) At the same time. It made me truly comprehend how out of shape I\'m in and the need so much more to strengthen core, and improve flexibility. I wad proud I didn\'t quit.
I love reading all the journals, the good moods are infectous and the not such good moods are therapeutic because it takes my mind off My physical pain and my mental ups and downs. I may have mood swings and depression I know was diagnosed, yet I feel like if anyone\'s independence was taken away its a normal response.
