DAY 119

Tacking on another day.  Get to rehearse tonight for the dance show, so that should be fun.  Work is a nightmare, but I'm holding on  - - in the past, the stress would have been a perfect opportunity to gamble, but will turn my head the other way, as hard as it is sometimes.    I heard from a friend about her parents going to the casino recently and the person who had been driving having his car broken into - everything stolen, including a lot of cash in it . . . honestly, I don't know why this guy would have left a huge sum of money in the car; he may have been trying NOT to spend it all inside, but it was a really weird story, reminding me again at how lucky I have been to take a turn in the other direction.  The other thing about that situation was that the man was very angry and wanted the casino to be somehow responsible; and it was mentioned in the conversation by the casino employee that they have MANY situations like this DAILY.  I really had no idea it was that bad - this is an upscale place where the car was in a parking garage as well... unbelievable.
