Day 22...

So far so good - a friend at work told me today about her mother winning this past weekend.. rather than make a big deal of it, I just listened for a minute, and then switched the subject.  I know from what she's said about the mother's gambling experiences that she will put it all back in and more. Normally hearing of someone's wins would be a trigger for me, but it wasn't.
I'm actually glad I handled it the way I did.  I could have said something to her about my efforts to quit... (we used to go sometimes together), but I figured I'd just let my actions speak for themselves.  I wasn't even tempted, so for that I'm thankful.
