In reality I'm finding the fact that my wife is being nice as being somewhat frightening. It could be the calm before the storm, yes. It could be that I have, by necessity, emotionally detached and am therefore afraid to naively open myself up to her again. And, she is being very sweet to me, yet is in love with another man. The former should make me happy, the latter should make me angry. Therefore is a complex mixture of reasons which leaves me in a state of comfortable confusion, which is my near perpetual state. Anyway, I stayed up until 4:30 playing a video game, and upon going to bed had one of the most rapid fire explosion of dream sequences that I can ever remember. They could have been classified as nightmares, but they left me largely untouched. I find it very odd that dreams are suddenly playing a role in my life when they haven't for many, many years. No medication changes, so I have no good explaination for it. I tossed up another entry, Twighlight of Manhood, on my writer's blog, for those who are interested.

Sounds like your subconscious is yelling at you. Try to make sense of the dreams. I sure hope they get less negative soon
Dreams suck sometimes. Especially, when you sleep, can\'t remember your dream...and feel like you haven\'t had a wink of sleep at all.
I\'m sorry to hear that your life is pretty much teasing you right now...that\'s not very nice. Also, I have to wonder...what is it about affairs that make people feel they have to act differently around their spouse?? As though the spouse has never learned of it...or would never guess that something\'s up.
I think you should just go for the calm before the storm theory. But then again, if she IS in love with another man...then perhaps, opening yourself up to her...isn\'t the best idea. Who\'s to know what they speak of when they talk to each other. Sorry, I\'m a paranoid person.
