It is amazing one part of the day I can be doing fine. The next minute it is like a ton of bricks as hit me. But, I do it to myself. A little while ago, John Lennon's Imagne came on the radio. Josh loved that song so much. We played it at is funeral and it is so hard to listen to that song. Along with any Queen songs. He loved them. Then I went onto myspace looking around and saw that today Logan (Josh's girlfriend) is celebrating her 8 month anniversary with her new boyfriend. Monday I have to celebrate my 9 month anniversary without Josh. Life is so unfair. I know we are not supposed to ask why, but GOD WHY MY JOSH!!!!!

I\'m so sorry, honey.
You know I don\'t have an answer-but I must tell you-Chris loved that Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen-he would really get into it-I\'m sure him and Josh are belting it out! Love, Sandy
Why is my question, too, Rhonda. We just had Evan\'s first angel day and his wife is getting married any time now. I don\'t think young people today have any clue what love really is. Were Evan and Josh disposable boy toys for these girls? There are others in our group who are going through the same things and we all feel the same way: crushed, angry, hurt. I\'m getting a pretty clear picture, though, that God has one hell of a band up there. He\'s got the musicians and the singers and the dancers, so wherever they are, they are rocking their world. Imagine singing WITH John Lennon...
Sorry no answer to the question, oh but we could have one. That\'s one of things that I have the most trouble with, thw world just goes on and no one seems to notice that mine stopped, and I wonder how can you go forward don\'t you know my son died. How dare you. Beyond crazy I know but that\'s what goes through my mind. I find that music is one of the hardest things to do. Praying for peace for you. Love and hugs Cathy
and Reece is sing right along with Josh and Chris. he did like Queen. Reece\'s girlfriend got married in August plus she is expecting. kinda hard and kinda hurts but at the same time, i cannot expect her life to come to a halt like mine. she is still young and has her life ahead of her. so i do wish her the best. do i understand it, do i like it .... no. but that is how it is at this time. i am sorry you had a rough day. i wish i could tell you those days would end but they won\'t. they come and go in spurts ... laugh one minute and cry the next. just know that you have a safe place here with us to tell us anything and everything. love you! ~ charlayne
I still almost 4 months later can\'t listen to music. I don\'t even listen to the same type of music as my son but it is still too hard to hear any music. I now listen to talk radio. Corny I know but mostly for noise in the car. I\'m sorry it\'s hard that Josh\'s girlfriend has appeared to move on. Please don\'t be too hard on yourself about that. I think death is too hard for these young ones when losing a boyfriend, girlfriend, or especially a sibling. We don\'t even have coping mechanisms that seem to work. Imagine how they feel. Maybe she needs the security of a boyfriend, that someone is there for her and provides some comfort. I\'m sure it is still hard for her too. My sons girlfriend won\'t come over anymore. I\'ve expressed my hope that she would live life and find a nice young man but still be part of our family in some small way. I just wanted her in our lives somehow but they spread their wings and grow in their own way. You\'re right life isn\'t fair. I try to think as our children on loan to us. They belong, we all belong to a loving God. He wanted or needed our children back right now. Why, we aren\'t supposed to know right now. If we did, we wouldn\'t be tested in faith. I believe in a plan, a perfect plan that all will be as is is supposed to be. Not that I don\'t hurt terribly and question God and get mad and confused, every emotion every else other mother on this site is going through but I try have faith. If there isn\'t anything better after this life, then what? Hang in there, we are all here for you. Love Robin
I really feel for my son\'s gf.They had been together 4 six yrs.Ive told her that she must move on.She says she doubts she can find anyone who can measure up to him.I treat her like my daughter and pamper her!
WHY! The horrible haunting question!
I am fortunate to have a daughter-in-law that was devoted to my son and truly loved him. She was recently asked out and declined, however I know it\'s been 9 months, she\'s 23, and she will find someone else to share her life with. Whether that\'s in a couple months or years - it scares me, but I can\'t expect her to not move forward in her life.
Like many of us, music is the trigger that sends me in a spin! B.J.\'s life was music. All music. But songs that get me is John Lennon\'s \"Beautiful Boy\", Lynrd Skynrd \"Free Bird\", \"Guns and Roses \"Welcome to the Jungle\" (he\'s a TRUE Bengals fan)... And then there is Vince Gill\'s \"Go Rest High On That Mountain\"... and just about any other song that reminds me of him or has heartfelt lyrics...
Trust me when I say that these kids are TRULY rocking heaven and B.J. is most likely coordinating, directing, mixing and producing it! Not to mention MC\'ing... I know when we meet up with them, we will have one heck of a concert to attend! Lots of love, Karen
I also find music hard most of the time. I sure hope they are playing some AC/DC or Andrew might get a little upset. That is his favorite. I\'m thankful that I don\'t like it so I don\'t have to listen to it. He got a CD for Christmas that he hadn\'t even listened to. I tried but ended up crying too much even tho I don\'t like them. I finally gave the CD to Andrew\'s cousin who always looked up to him and wanted to be like him. He enjoys listening to Andrew\'s music and is so proud to have something of his. Love and hugs, Dawn
