Today is a smiley day.  It's early though.  Two good things.  First of all Josh's article was beautiful in Sunday's paper.  I know he  is very proud of it and his daddy and I.  Second, my family took my nephew (Drew) to the Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington on Saturday.  We covered every inch of that ship.  We got ready to leave and John looked in one more little room and told me to go over there.  He said look and tell me what you see.  I looked.  I asked him what was I supposed to be seeing.  He said look again.  I did and still saw nothing.  Then he pointed it out.  All of you know how Josh loved the peace sign (the two figure one).  Well, right beside this picture of an old guy was a drawing of the peace sign that our Josh loved so much.  I told John that was his sign from Josh that he was still with us no matter were we went.   It is amazing that one peace sign brought us so much peace that another new.  John had another sign yesterday.  He was out washing my truck and was under the shelter looking for a SOS pad.  He looked up and there was another one of Josh's mark he left.  John did not know it was there.  We used to fuss at Josh all the time about writing on everything around the house.  But, I have come to the conclusion that if he had not we would not have all of these surprises popping up.  Josh, Honey thank you so much for sending your daddy his signs this weekend.  He misses you so much and so do I.  Josh, we tried to be the best parents we knew how.  You know you were my right arm and now my right arm is gone.  I love you with all of my heart Josh.  Toni and David went with your daddy and I to visit you yesterday.  They love you to Josh.  I am going by today to read you the newspaper article.  Your best friend Jordan was in it.  The lady from the newspaper used a picture of him taken at your first clean up day.  Oh one more thing Mema has started sitting with Granny.  You know she will be 91 this month and she is so ready to go home.  Josh, please look out for me and your daddy to get through the rest of our lives without you.  Please send all the signs you can.  I love you, Mama

Ronda, no doubt in my mind that he is with you and John all the time. It sounds like those signs helped lift John a little bit too. I am so happy for you both. Can\'t wait to see you in Charleston. Lots of hugs, Jake\'s mom, kathy

I am so glad you got the messages and signs from Josh. Our kids are always with us, but it\'s so great when they \"speak\" directly to us. They know how to get our attention and they know what we need to see/hear. I think it\'s amazing that they take us to places which will show us things that are important and meaningful just to us. I love that Josh\'s symbol is peace. What a great kid. Isn\'t it funny the things we used to complain about are now the most precious to us?
Living to make Kala proud,
Teri

I can\'t wait to see the article-and you know that Josh is not only sending you those peace signs because that\'s what he loved to draw but I think he\'s also telling you and your husband that he wants you all to feel peace-and I believe it will come in time-but our guys will help us find it. Love, Sandy

The day after I buried my son. I woke up angry and snapped at my husband. I went downstairs and I walked in my sons room and stared around aimlessly. I open his desk drawer, threw away some chapstick, wrappers etc and took some pens and pencils out of his desk drawer upstairs to the kitchen drawer. After I placed them in the drawer I opened the drawer back up (I don\'t know why) and picked up the pen I had just placed from my sons drawer and turned it over and there was a peace symbol. I do believe in signs. Just the other day while crying as I was trying to clean out his room (he has posters and pictures plastered all over the walls, it looks like wall paper), I went to take one down. I\'ve been it that room hundreds of times and never even glimpsed at this but it said. \"This is what we know, imagine what we don\'t\". I can only believe there is something greater and more magnificent waiting for all of us after we\'re gone. Love Robin
