Six months ago today Josh was just getting up out of the bed.  It's 8:54 here in North Carolina.  Six months ago was going to go pick up Logan and go to church @ 10:00.  Six months @ 10:30 Josh had left us to go to heaven.  Six months of hell.  Six months of sometimes wishing I was dead.  Six months of wanting to know why Josh.  Six months of not knowing what happened.  Six months of emptiness.  Six months of the most terrible time in John and my life.  But, we are trying to go on without him.  It is so difficult with him being the only child.  Josh, One note for you.  You always said your family were rednecks.  Well, your daddy and I have started going to the Kenly (Southern National Race track) with your aunt Wanda to watch the Saturday night races there.  You talking about redneck.  But, we have a good time when we go.  For about 5 hours it puts our minds somewhere else.  Well, my Josh Pa Gene just drove up to go get something to cook today.  Just remember I love you and miss you.  Oh one more thing, we will go to the scene and change your flowers out at the cross and I will burn a candle and incense for you.  Love, Mama

Rhonda, this life is less than easy. The only way I can survive is to keep moving. I remind myself everyday that he is ok, happy and safe. And even though I know these things, BJ\'s mom Karen, said to me \"Even though I know them, I need to see them because as I mom I still worry\". I agree, I know Jake is ok just as I know Josh is too. But as mom\'s we need to see it as well as know it. Lots of love, Jake\'s mom, Kathy
