I'm feeling better lately...maybe because I have my daughter with me for two weeks & I'm seeing my sons a little more too. I decided to stop taking Seroquel. I gave it 3 weeks. It doesn't feel right for me. I've been so confused, my thoughts have been erratic, my driving has been bad, decision making, even while driving (should I change lanes or not?) has been difficult...getting lost & confused with directions even more than before I started the pills. I was already bad enough! I've been having trouble with word recall & mixing up my words... stammering. I can't tell if my depression was less because I've been really down lately...mainly because of stuff with my boyfriend. Things haven't really improved with him, but I'm feeling better anyway. I know my depression comes in cycles. I can feel like killing myself for 2 weeks, no matter what is going on in my life...but it's definitely worse if there are stressful or hurtful things happening...then I can feel perfectly fine & able to cope with those things at other times. I suppose that's the definition of bi-polar?? I just don't know... I do have a pretty good sense about my body & what it needs...or doesn't need...and most of the drugs I've tried feel completely WRONG. I don't want to lose my mind & natural abilities in order to "function". That's not functioning. I've taken stuff in the past that made me unable to cry or feel normal emotion. I felt no inspiration, spirituality or excitement. I felt empty. It was a horrible feeling. So...I don't know what the answer is as far as medication goes, but I think I'll know it when it's right. I'm doing lots of research on meds & natural remedies as well.
