My boyfriend & I finally talked things over last night. He's been going through some hard stuff emotionally. I kinda knew that, but he made me feel like I'd done something wrong by the way he was ignoring me, etc. I told him he just needs to open up to me so I know what's going on. Then I won't think it's me, when it really has nothing to do with me. His daughter moved away with her mom a year ago & he hasn't seen her since. She was supposed to come for a visit this week, but it was postponed. He recently (about 6 weeks ago) got a DUI, spent 2 days in jail, got big fines, lost his license, had to give up his leased car & started a new position at his job. He seemed to be doing ok a couple weeks ago & he said he was dealing with it. But, obviously he's still carrying a heavy load & he kept it bottled up. Even so, I think if we stop showing love to our partner & don't nurture the relationship, things will fall apart. Then, doesn't that just create more problems? Anyway...I do understand why he hasn't been himself, and I can live with less sex for awhile as long as we talk & there is still some love & affection happening. The more he keeps to himself, the more I feel frustrated & want sex even more because I feel desperate to connect with him. And, not to put it ALL on him...my emotions are like a yoyo. I guess I am a little needy sometimes. Sshhh....no one heard me admit that!!

thats good that you two had a long overdue talk:)
now things might get better :)
good luck ! :)
I would feel the same way that you do. In any relationship
both people have to want it, and both people have to try.
If you ignore any relationship long enough, it will die.
Communication is the key, if you understand you can accept.
